Preschool chain to open in new Fremont Crossing office building

Seattle, Wash., January 27, 2025 – An early childhood learning company has leased the first floor of the new office building at Fremont Crossing, south of the Fremont Bridge. Shown here while under construction in 2020, the new building is next to the the 60,000-square-foot campus’ other building, which previously housed Bleitz Funeral Home.

The North Face to Open New 6,000 SQFT Location at Fremont Crossing Building in Seattle

Seattle, Wash., February 9, 2022 – Pastakia + Associates, a Seattle-based development firm specializing in mixed-use urban infill, along with partner HAL Real Estate, today announced that The North Face, the world’s leading outdoor brand,  has signed a lease at its newly-constructed Fremont Crossing Building project in Seattle.

Located at 316 S. Florentia St. along the Lake Washington Ship Canal, the West Coast-based company will occupy 6,414 sq. ft. of office and showroom space designed for retail buyers of the company’s popular outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment. 

New Seattle ‘micro-hub campus’ stretches Fremont office submarket south of the ship canal

The Fremont office submarket in Seattle is expanding as work on an adaptive reuse project south of the Lake Washington Ship Canal nears completion.

Office space in Fremont – home to the headquarters of Tableau Software as well as offices for Google and Adobe – is a hot commodity. North of the ship canal, a new office building is filling up while a 1980s-era building sold last month for 88% more than it did six years prior.

Fremont Crossing, the adaptive reuse project by Seattle-based Pastakia + Associates, will test whether tenants will migrate to the other side of the canal.
